CLARA ROWN
Licensed Psychotherapist
I help women feel safe inside their own minds.
Because healing begins when you no longer feel at war with
yourself.
I became a therapist because I was always the one people came to when they felt overwhelmed.
And somewhere along the way, I realized how many capable women carry their anxiety silently. I work with women in their 30s and 40s who are high-achieving, thoughtful, and deeply responsible — but rarely feel fully at ease.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping you understand yourself in a way that softens everything.
I care deeply about nervous system science, attachment patterns, and the quiet details that make someone feel safe in a room. And yes — I read constantly, practice yoga regularly, and live in a slightly chaotic but very loving home with two dogs and two cats.
HOW THERAPY WITH ME FEELS
Gentle. Grounded. Real.
A space where you don’t have to hold it all together.
This isn’t a place to “perform” your healing. We move at a pace your nervous system can trust — so clarity, self-trust, and calm can actually land.
01
Calm
You can exhale here. No pressure to be “fine,” no rush to explain perfectly — we take it one honest moment at a time.
02
Clarity
We make sense of what’s underneath: the patterns you repeat, the thoughts that loop,
and the places your body holds tension.
03
Safety
Healing starts when you feel safe enough to tell the truth — without being judged, fixed, or hurried.
04
Self-Trust
The goal isn’t a “perfect” version of you. It’s a steadier one — where your choices feel grounded,
not driven by fear.
If you’ve been carrying everything alone for a long time, this can be a soft place to begin.
What we gently build together
Not perfection — capacity. Small shifts that compound into calm, clarity, and self-trust.
MY JOURNEY
Learning to listen beneath the words
I began my clinical path with a simple pull: understanding why capable, intelligent women still felt anxious, disconnected, or “too much” on the inside.
Training gave me structure — but what shaped me most was sitting with real stories, real nervous systems, and real pain that needed gentleness (not fixing).
This is where my work started: safety first.
From coping… to understanding
Over time, patterns became clear: overwhelm wasn’t a personality flaw — it was a nervous system doing its best to protect you.
I leaned deeper into trauma-informed work and the mind–body connection, helping clients move from “What’s wrong with me?” to “What happened, and what do I need now?”
That shift changes everything.
Opening my own therapy room
In 2022, I opened my own space — a calm, private room designed to feel like an exhale.
It wasn’t just an office. It was a container: for emotional safety, honest conversation, and the kind of slow work that actually lasts.
A place to be held, not hurried.
A steady approach for real change
Today, I support women who are tired of holding it all together — high-functioning on the outside, overwhelmed on the inside.
Our work is gentle, evidence-informed, and deeply human: building emotional safety, self-trust, and a relationship with yourself that feels like home.
Not more pressure. More steadiness.
